Only Fools and Horses and Eastenders star visits St Helens

ONLY Fools and Horses and Eastenders star Steven Woodcock paid a visit to a transport museum in St Helens last week.

The actor, best known for his portrayal of Jevon in Only Fools and Horses and Clyde Tavernier in Eastenders, visited the North West Museum of Road Transport in St Helens last Sunday to indulge in his passion for vintage vehicles.

One of his favourites, vintage buses, were among the vehicles displayed at the museum, with the TV star joining the crew for a ride around town in their 1965 Leyland Titan double-decker.

Following his visit to the museum, Steven said: “It was great to visit the museum and see all the work that goes into restoring and maintaining the many vehicles on display, and I really enjoyed meeting the staff and volunteers.

“It was also good to be able to chat to the visitors about some of the TV shows I’ve been involved in, and the vehicle stunts like the exploding coach in the Only Fools and Horses ‘Jolly Boys Outing’ episode.”

If you would like to have a look around the museum and have a ride on a vintage bus, visit on a Sunday between 11am and 4pm at Hall Street, St Helens.
