Only Fools and Horses Del Boy makes an appearance at Breakspear Park in Hemel Hempstead
“You don’t normally come into the office to see Del Boy’s van parked up inside your office.”
With many celebrities choosing Hertfordshire as their home, it is not unusual to see some famous faces out and about across the county. However, this celeb might have been a shock to some.
On Tuesday, January 24, ‘Del Boy’, the beloved character from the popular British sitcom “Only Fools and Horses”, made a special appearance at Breakspear Park Business Park in Hemel Hempstead.
Del Boy, played by David Jason in the show was portrayed by a look-alike actor, who arrived in the famous Trotters van. One of the employees couldn’t quite believe what was happening, stating: “You don’t normally come into the office to see Del Boy’s van parked up inside your office.”
Dina Mistry, Marketing Manager at Breakspear Park, who organised the event, commented: “We wanted to do something fun and different to kick off the new year, and what better way than to bring Del Boy and his famous Trotters van to Breakspear Park.”
“Just like Del Boy says, ‘this time next year we’ll be millionaires’, we wanted to inspire our employees to think big and set ambitious goals for themselves. The event was certainly a hit with employees, and it was lovely to see so many smiling faces around the building.”
